Chapter 3 in Human Resource Management in Ageing Societies, 2008, pp 29-42 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract Ageing populations are a common phenomenon among the world’s advanced countries including Germany and Japan. Among the problems posed by population ageing, the financing of public pensions is one of the most difficult to cope with. It is therefore not surprising that the pension issue has been repeatedly placed high on the political agenda.
