Programme management

Sergio Pellegrinelli

Chapter Chapter 1 in Thinking and Acting as a Great Programme Manager, 2008, pp 3-16 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract When individuals involved in projects and programmes meet, they each spend time trying to understand what the other means by programme management. Synthetic descriptions are exchanged. The individuals smile and nod. But as they part there frequently remains a lingering feeling among experienced programme managers that they have not communicated the subtleties of what they do and what makes programme management different from project management.
