Strategic and Other Alliances
Richard Thompson
Chapter Fifteen in Real Venture Capital, 2008, pp 54-56 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract AS A BUSINESS grows, strategic alliances become very important since they give a small company added clout in a competitive international world, without saddling it with permanent overheads. Just as the aim is to concentrate on core activities that the business does well, other companies have the same idea and welcome off-loading specialist activities that they would be unlikely to be able to keep up-to-date with.
