Acquisitions and Mergers
Richard Thompson
Chapter Seventeen in Real Venture Capital, 2008, pp 61-63 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract AS DISCUSSED previously, acquisitions and mergers can be a fruitful way in which a company can accelerate its organic growth, particularly after it has gone public and has high priced paper. They can also be reciprocally a way in which an exit can be achieved by selling out to a trade buyer, either for cash or shares.
