The Financial World View
Paul H. Dembinski
Chapter 1.3 in Finance: Servant or Deceiver?, 2009, pp 54-71 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract The previous two sections have described (a) the historical background to financialization, and (b) the players and ways of behaving that initiated the process. It is striking how these two largely independent developments have converged. Although much depends on how things are presented, there is something disturbing about the newly emerging pattern. Is it pure coincidence, a plot, a historical necessity or something else altogether?
