Losing the moral compass

Adrian Furnham

A chapter in Head & Heart Management, 2008, pp 104-105 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract Business ethics are only really interesting when you see something like an Enron in action. It’s a bit like going to a Formula 1 race and waiting for a crash. Perhaps ethics can really only be understood when it all goes wrong: when companies really lose the ethical plot; when their moral compass loses magnetic north.
