Optimal ethics
Adrian Furnham
A chapter in Head & Heart Management, 2008, pp 120-122 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract The topic of ethics is no longer restricted to rather dry courses in philosophy and theology, learning the meaning of big words such as consequentialism, deontology or utilitarianism. Moral philosophers and psychologists write a great deal about ethics, though they may use synonymous concepts such as integrity, justice and social conscience. They may even prefer more old-fashioned words such as virtue, or charity.
