Abstract:
Abstract There is no other place where retailers are more vulnerable to theft than the point of sale (POS). Whenever a minimum-wage, poorly trained, and unmotivated register clerk goes head-to-head with a determined and experienced thief, the odds are good that the store will incur a loss.
