Abstract:
Abstract Achieving long-term fiscal sustainability is of key importance to every British person. It not only affects the welfare of future generations but also the future well-being of each existing generation. For this reason the assessment of the long-term effects of current policy settings needs to be a central part of the fiscal framework.
