Abstract:
Abstract Although Argentina’s growth performance during the ISI was relatively weak in the international comparison, between 1964 and 1974 the economy experienced 11 years of positive GDP growth in a row. However, even during those years recurrent balance of payments and institutional crises and growing social unrest were present.
