Conclusions and Policy Implications

Chapter Chapter 9 in The Elusive Quest for Growth in Argentina, 2007, pp 161-177 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract In a country that has exhibited high political instability, deep economic volatility, and persistent institutional fragility (and in spite of the rich base of natural and human resources) it is hardly surprising to find a poor long-run economic and social performance. In fact, this was the outcome of the long period analyzed in this book.
