Political and Economic Challenges
Alfred Marcus
Chapter Chapter 5 in Strategic Foresight, 2009, pp 95-126 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract Political and economic spheres are the next topics taken up in this book. The connections between them and population and security have to be examined. These different realms cannot be considered in isolation. Each has an impact on the other. The aim of this chapter is to tie together the stories sketched in the last chapter about national security and society with stories about politics and the world economy. Another important realm, the ecosystem, will be treated in the next chapter and the final chapter of the book (the afterword) will examine technology.
