Abstract:
Abstract ‘Maghreb’ is the old Arabic name for north-west Africa. The region consists of Algeria, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, and Tunisia and is isolated from the rest of the African continent by the natural boundaries of the Sahara Desert and the Atlas Mountains.
