The blame culture
Adrian Furnham
A chapter in Management Mumbo-Jumbo, 2006, pp 28-30 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract “Where there’s blame, there’s a claim”. The blame culture has crossed the Atlantic. The old-fashioned Shackleton-epitomized virtues of endurance, fortitude and stoicism are but memories. “Screwing the system”, that battlecryof the sixties is now a baby boomer and generation-X pastime.
