Chapter Chapter 3 in Bonds, 2006, pp 47-69 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract I’m a big fan of gilts. In fact if it wasn’t for the need to make this book a bit more complete, I’d be happy to just finish with this chapter. Most private investors will find that their fixed income investment needs are met by gilts. Or, like the author, you could add one or two building society permanent interest-bearing shares (PIBS) to your gilt holdings to add spice, and that would be it — perfect!
