Abstract:
Abstract Knowledge sharing is not about a mechanical distribution of packages of data or shifting information from one place to another. Rather, knowledge is a commodity, which is often only transferable in personal exchanges between individuals (Nonaka and Takeuchi, 1995; Spender, 1996). Thus, it is crucial to discuss knowledge sharing practices in a “people” context, i.e., to examine the theories and techniques of knowledge sharing in a particular culture environment.
