Abstract: Abstract A strong corporate knowledge culture will fuel a successful knowledge program. But to make such a culture meaningful and productive rather than a mess of Brownian motion requires firm-handed steerage and a clear grasp of your craft’s characteristics. Just as a ship’s crew can become more adept sailors as the journey advances, your employees can gradually build their desire for knowledge even as other aspects of a knowledge management program are already underway. Even without a complete knowledge culture, your company should begin actively addressing the three main tasks of knowledge management: application, distribution, and cultivation.
