Performance of Foreign Investment Projects
Michael Du Pont
Chapter 8 in Foreign Direct Investment in Transitional Economies, 2000, pp 221-242 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter explores the performance of enterprises with foreign investment in China and Poland. In order to assess the performance of enterprises with foreign investment, the profitability, plans and strategies of the firms are analysed. The chapter also analyses whether foreign investment policies favouring advanced technology and import substitution discourage foreign investors’ interest in exports.
