A New Strategic Way

Graeme Snooks

Chapter 8 in The Global Crisis Makers, 2000, pp 131-151 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract The reason for this exposé of the crisis makers is to clear the ground for the construction of a new way – the strategic way. It is important not to waste this opportunity. To criticise and then fail to create a viable alternative would be pointless. If we are to prevent the growing global crisis from leading to the collapse of Western civilisation it is essential to break with the recent past. The means to do this are at hand. The evidence and dynamic theory for an effective alternative to the current crippling neoliberal policies have already been outlined in the two trilogies – on global history and social dynamics – referred to throughout this work. This chapter outlines the policy principles and practice arising from my dynamic-strategy theory.
