Fighting above its weight

Chapter Chapter 3 in INSEAD, 2000, pp 53-82 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract Napoleon, that aggressive early European, might have seen the irony of it. The Fontainebleau palace had been one of his favourite haunts. In the Cour des Adieux he had bid farewell to his weeping generals before being escorted to the island of Elba. Nearly two centuries later, it had become the home of a European business school striving to eradicate national boundaries in a more consensual way.
