Boards as Teams?

Abstract:
Abstract Ever since the Enron disaster, our traditional notion of corporate governance has been seriously questioned. How could a company previously hailed as a showcase for corporate governance lie, deceive and, in the end, go bust? Corporate governance has been under the spotlight since then and even more so since 2008: how could the boards of the largest financial institutions not have investigated the risk of its business practices more closely?
