A chapter in Authority and Autonomy, 2012, pp 226-230 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract When I set out on this project, I had two primary ambitions. First, I wanted to contribute to the literature discussing corporate culture, work as self-realization, and affective labor. Second, I wanted to develop an analytical and methodological perspective capable of grasping simul-taneities and contradictions. Obviously, these two ambitions melt into one in this book, since they depend on each other in order to succeed. Nevertheless, I would like to highlight them individually below, because they both represent central contributions.
