Fashion victims

Adrian Furnham

A chapter in The Engaging Manager, 2012, pp 78-80 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract What do clothing styles, hair length, musical tastes and furniture design have in common? They are all highly prone to fad and fashion. In one moment; out the next. Looking back at some fashions in old movies or magazines, it seems preposterous that anybody could speak, look or behave in the ways portrayed. How could anyone have had such poor taste; been such a naïve fashion victim?
