Abstract:
Abstract This chapter describes and summarizes the results from the interviews with the 20 study participants regarding the responsibilities and role of institutional investors in German corporate governance. The section starts with a general picture of the results with respect to corporate governance; then it focuses on the individual results regarding the six variables derived from the research model, which are board oversight, nomination, identification of weaknesses/improvement of company value, recommendations, inducing changes and execution of institutional power.
