Chapter 26 in Global Asset Management, 2013, pp 495-524 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract Since 2007, the asset management industry has been undergoing major changes. Asset values declined steeply in 2008 and 2009 and even though assets have recovered, profits are still significantly lower than in 2007. The period has seen ongoing financial turmoil and market volatility, as well as increasing regulatory requirements and client demands.
