Communication Physics: What Holds Patterns Together

Jesse Sostrin

Chapter 7 in Re-Making Communication at Work, 2013, pp 81-87 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract In the same way that there is a basic chemistry of communication, there are rules that influence how these interactions take place. These rules are the physics of communication and they act as the invisible forces of energy that mix and hold the various elements of communication together. If the science of physics is concerned with the study of interactions between matter and energy, the physics of communication focuses on the interactive forces that influence people in communication.
