Strategy # 9: Expanded Iron Butterfly Swing Trading

Michael C. Thomsett

Chapter Chapter 18 in Options for Swing Trading, 2013, pp 327-337 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract The iron butterfly is a popular strategy designed to provide limited maximum profit in exchange for limited maximum loss. This strategy may be viewed as acceptable for those willing to live with limitations on both sides; it may also be seen as unacceptable because profit can never exceed the limitations imposed by the strategy.
