Abstract:
Abstract This chapter will provide some practical suggestions for converting job descriptions (JDs) to role descriptions (RDs). The first important step in moving toward a performance-focused culture is to change JDs to RDs for all employees in the organization. In doing this the organization is on the way to moving from a job focus to a performance focus.
