Afterword: Desiring change
Anna Simpson
A chapter in The Brand Strategist’s Guide to Desire, 2014, pp 169-171 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract This is a book about movement and change. Desire, I said in the preface, propels us towards places and circumstances in which we imagine life will be somehow better. It will have more of something that we value in the world: more connections within a community; more opportunities for adventure; more stimulus for our senses – or more of something that we value in ourselves: the energy and appetite we have for life, or the meaning we give to it.
