Abstract:
Abstract This chapter provides an understanding of the contributions the Board and the chief executive officer (CEO) make to assist the chief risk officer (CRO) build a vision for risk management that the business values. In particular, it illustrates – the role of the Board in risk management, − the contribution of the CEO to support the risk function, − the role of the CRO, and – a structure for developing a risk management vision.
