Coda: As to the Future…
Karol M. Wasylyshyn
A chapter in Destined to Lead, 2014, pp 235-240 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract The future of executive coaching appears to be at a challenging inflection point. After roughly 30 years of explosive growth there are approximately forty thousand coaches worldwide1 marketplace dynamics have shifted and demand a nimble response if the field is to capitalize on its robust beginning. The coached executives in Destined to Lead have, with their input, indicated one such response. Specifically, their emphatic endorsement of the long term nature of their coaching trusted advisor relationships suggests that more may be more when it comes to the length of these engagements.
