A chapter in The Development of Managerial Culture, 2015, pp 1-10 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract Australia and Canada are two nations poles apart geographically yet share many similarities in their founding and development. Despite their mutual Anglo-Celtic origins, these nations did not evolve into culturally identical societies. Obvious and subtle distinctions separate these two countries from each other. Differences include, though ultimately transcend, diverse geographies and climates, physical and psychological proximities to both the United Kingdom and the United States—reflecting Australia and Canada’s unique relationships with these world powers—and the varied cultural influences of populations that settled in Australia and Canada early on in each country’s history.
