Abstract: Abstract LOCATED IN THE HEART OF THE SOUTHWEST, FARMINGTON, NEW MEXICO sits in the shadow of the San Juan Mountains near the convergence of the Animas, La Plata, and San Juan Rivers. Called Totah in Najavo, meaning “Three rivers,” the town is a rich blend of Native American culture, tranquil desert landscapes, and world-class outdoor activities such as skiing and hiking.
