Assess Senior Management and Relationships

Dewey Norton

Chapter 3 in The Executive’s Guide to Financial Management, 2012, pp 61-111 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract This chapter begins with an assessment of the performance of senior management and the board. Insight into how leaders perform is necessary for the financial officer to succeed in the role of strategic adviser to the president. We analyze external relationships in similar ways: lenders, investors, vendors, and tax authorities.
