Abstract:
Abstract Especially in times of economic pressure, organisations seek success factors that support a competitive advantage. Organisational culture has been regarded as one of those factors at least since the 1980s (e.g., Alvesson 1990; Bate 1994; Deal and Kennedy 1982, 2000; Neubauer 2003; Peters and Waterman 1982). Although the definitions of organisational culture differ (Alvesson 1990; Bate 1994; Neubauer 2003; Sackmann 2006; Saunders et al. 2012), as do approaches (Hatch 1993; Hatch and Cunliffe 2006; Sackmann 2006; Schein 2004; Trice and Beyer 1993), the topic is still of great interest.
