Abstract: Abstract This chapter offers a summary of the development of insurance and consumer finance. In this chapter, it gives firstly a brief overview of the significance of insurance on the development of consumer finance and then discusses relevant theories, practices and problems of the automobile loan guarantee insurance, the housing loan guarantee insurance, the student loan guarantee insurance, and petty loan guarantee insurance respectively according to the constitution of credit guarantee insurance.
