Chapter Chapter 4 in Diversity Intelligence, 2016, pp 47-60 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract There are scales available that are used to measure IQ, EQ, and CQ. Currently the EQ scales are used most frequently. Despite all of the scales used, diversity concerns of protected class group employees remain prevalent. DQ requires individuals to display both cognitive knowledge of protected class groups and positive behavioral actions toward all individuals who are different than oneself to be effective. DQ will examine individual diversity and show that individual diversity can be exclusive of group in contrast to CQ’s position that one individual’s view represents the views of the group.
