Inflation, Taxation and Economic Growth

Amlan Datta

Chapter Chapter XI in Perspectives of Economic Development, 1973, pp 157-169 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract There are a number of things which cannot be discussed at length within the general structure of this book. Among them are problems of public finance and planning techniques. Yet these things cannot be altogether left out; they have to be taken up, however briefly, at some point or other in the development of our main theme. In this chapter, we shall have a few words to say about inflation and taxation in relation to economic growth.
