Political Stability and Economic Development
Theodore L. Shay
A chapter in Accelerated Development in Southern Africa, 1974, pp 503-512 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract At a minimum, this volume and the Conference that gave rise to it have served to indicate the complexity of development and the interrelationship of the multiple factors that are involved. Even if we are unable here to delineate a comprehensive blueprint for accelerated development, we shall at least have set forth more clearly the factors involved and have shared insights into the preconditions and perhaps the priorities for effective future action.
