The Programmes Available

Chapter 9 in The Control of Staff-Related Overhead, 1976, pp 103-108 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract We have now seen that there is a range of measurement techniques; approaches to methods, procedures and systems investigations; control systems; and attitudes to motivation and incentives. Clearly it would be possible to put forward a package of techniques in a wide variety of ways. It is also possible to argue that putting forward a package of techniques and calling it a programme is in itself dangerous in that it can lead management into a failure to realise the full range of options open to them in each technique area.
