Francis A. Lees

Chapter 4 in Foreign Banking and Investment in the United States, 1976, pp 33-42 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract Foreign banks have made use of several basic organisational structures to achieve maximum expansion of the U.S. side of their activities. In the first section of this chapter we examine the organisational structures employed, and in the second we review the strategy approaches developed by foreign banks. The final section of this chapter analyses the prospects for foreign bank expansion in the U.S. during the 1970s.
