A chapter in Bretton Woods, 1978, pp 304-307 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract On the train from Savannah to Washington Keynes had a very severe heart attack. After laying on a couch for some two hours, he recovered. On the boat to England he took some rest. Back in London, he wrote a long and very critical memorandum on the Savannah proceedings. Shortly after his arrival he went to his home, Tilton, in Sussex. On Easter Sunday he had another heart attack. Within a few minutes all was over.
