Communications Networks and Innovation in Industrial Communities

John A. Czepiel

Chapter 20 in Industrial Innovation, 1979, pp 399-416 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract Industrial innovation is a complex process. Involved are the psychological forces of creativity, the physical and economic factors which stimulate it, the organisations in which it occurs, the individual and group decision processes which decide upon its fate, and the communication processes which both stimulate it and bring its fruits to the larger community.
