Abstract:
Abstract In technology-intensive companies research and development naturally is of major importance for long-term success. In spite of this, company strategies for R & D have been accorded little interest in the business literature on strategic decision-making and long-range planning. Instead interest has focused on other, more indirect and dependent factors, such as marketing and investment.
