Chapter 4 in Industrial Innovation, 1979, pp 60-81 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract This paper presents a preliminary exploration of an underdeveloped sector of the economic effects of technological innovations. It has three basic objectives: to review some basic limitations of most past studies; to suggest some concepts and analytical approaches for improving coverage of the fuller range of such effects; and to provide some empirical illustrations of the additional insights which may be obtained.
