Abstract:
Abstract The principal aim of the survey, as described in the previous chapter, was to identify management’s information needs. This aim has been achieved. In addition there were a number of other benefits, which fall into four categories: (a) Information needs that ought to be satisfied. (b) The approach that should be taken to meet them. (c) A new approach to information system design. (d) The interrelationship between information flows and decision structure.
