Concluding Remarks

Chapter 7 in National Income and Outlay in Czechoslovakia, Poland and Yugoslavia, 1982, pp 72-79 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract So far, with respect to the availability of comparable data, our attention has been focused on the last ten to twelve years. In this chapter we would like to attempt to provide a more long-term view of the effort/reward relationship Here we have to be satisfied with less information than we could collect for the more recent period. Nevertheless on the strength of four official series, which for all of the three countries have been available since 1955, we may decipher the main distinction between the three paths towards socialism.
