Chapter Chapter Four in The USSR’s Management of Foreign Trade, 1979, pp 138-188 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract However much the organizational structure of management may be refined, the desired effect will not be achieved if at the same time scientific forms and methods of organizing labor are not also introduced and foreign trade activity in general streamlined. There is a dialectic relationship here, whereby, for example, the introduction of modern management structures requires that a series of measures be carried out to apply scientific forms and methods of the organization of labor; the introduction of the latter, in turn, requires rationalization of the organizational structures of management.
