Chapter 11 in Effective Management of Research and Development, 1980, pp 290-300 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract We have seen that there are a number of management techniques that have been modified to form new and useful tools to help in the operation of a Research and Development establishment: that there are considerations of relationship of research to objectives and of successful research practice which have produced their own problems and their own methods of organisation: that there are problems in increasing the efficiency of conducting research itself which increases the output in relation to reaching objectives for a given expenditure.
