Abstract The leading position held by the Soviet Union and Finland in each other’s foreign trade turnover makes Soviet-Finnish economic cooperation undoubtedly interesting as regards both bilateral relations of countries with different social systems and the contemporary theory and practice of East-West relations on the whole.
